One codebase, native on all three platforms. Built with Tauri — a Rust-backed framework that produces small, fast, secure binaries without Electron overhead.
Folder Watcher
Point QuantaShield at any folder and every new file is automatically encrypted on creation. Never leave a plaintext file at rest by accident again.
OS Keychain Integration
Your ML-KEM-768 private key is sealed inside the OS Keychain (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager, Linux Secret Service). Biometric unlock on supported hardware.
Offline-First
No internet connection required. All cryptographic operations execute locally using the same WASM modules as the web app — no network requests, no telemetry.
.qse Interoperability
Files encrypted on the desktop app can be decrypted in QKnight on the web, the mobile app, or the browser extension. One key, every platform.
System Tray + CLI
Runs quietly in the system tray with quick-access encrypt/decrypt actions. A companion CLI ships for scripting and CI pipeline integration.
